Priority Waste operates from two strategically placed facilities in North Carolina—one in Southport and one in Wilson making it easy for residential and commercial customers across the eastern part of the state to access dependable, responsive service. Whether you’re scheduling a pickup or have questions about what we haul, our team is ready.
Service Area
Our Southport facility sits right at the mouth of the Cape Fear River, and from here we serve a sprawling stretch of southeastern North Carolina—plus a good chunk of the South Carolina border region.
Brunswick County is home base. Oak Island is just across the bridge, and we’re there daily. Same goes for Caswell Beach, Holden Beach, and the growing communities around Leland and Shallotte. Bolivia, Calabash, Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle—our trucks know these roads well.
But we go much further. Over in Columbus County, we handle routes through Whiteville, Tabor City, Fair Bluff, and Lake Waccamaw. Heading east into New Hanover County, Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach fall squarely within our service range. We cover Pender County too—Burgaw, Hampstead, Surf City, and Topsail Beach all see regular pickups. And for customers in Onslow County, we reach Jacksonville, Richlands, Swansboro, and the areas surrounding Camp Lejeune.
Need service further out? Duplin County—Kenansville, Wallace, Rose Hill, Beulaville—we’ve got you. Same with Sampson County, where we run routes through Clinton, Roseboro, and Garland.
We also cross the state line. Down in South Carolina, our crews serve Horry County communities like Loris, Little River, and North Myrtle Beach. Dillon and Latta in Dillon County are on our radar, as are Mullins, Nichols, and Marion over in Marion County. From this hub, we cover Wilson County top to bottom: Wilson itself, Elm City, Lucama, Stantonsburg, Black Creek. Daily routes, dependable crews, no excuses. But our reach extends far beyond the county line.
Nash County sees heavy coverage. Rocky Mount, Nashville, Spring Hope, Castalia, Bailey—we’re in and out of these towns constantly. Across into Edgecombe County, Tarboro and Princeville get regular service, along with Pinetops, Speed, and Leggett. We push further north into Halifax County too, serving Roanoke Rapids, Weldon, Enfield, Scotland Neck, and Halifax itself.
Out west, Franklin County is well within range. Louisburg, Youngsville, Franklinton, Bunn—all covered. And yes, we extend into Wake County. Zebulon, Wendell, Knightdale, Rolesville, Wake Forest—the eastern corridor sees our trucks weekly, sometimes more.
Southeast of Wilson, we serve Johnston County communities like Smithfield, Selma, Clayton, Four Oaks, Benson, and Kenly. Heading into Wayne County, Goldsboro is a major stop, along with Fremont, Mount Olive, and Pikeville. Lenoir County customers in Kinston, La Grange, and Pink Hill can count on us too.
Then there’s the eastern stretch. Greene County—Snow Hill, Walstonburg, Hookerton. Pitt County—Greenville, Winterville, Farmville, Ayden, Bethel, Grimesland. We handle residential accounts and commercial contracts alike across all of it.

You Have Questions, We Have Answers
How fast will my Dumpster service be after I call?
We provide same-day service if you call in the morning. If you call in the afternoon, we do our best to service your dumpster that day, but due to landfill hours, service may be scheduled for the following morning.
Do I need to be on site when the Dumpster is delivered?
You do not have to be on site when the dumpster is delivered. If there is a specific spot you would like the dumpster placed, please disclose the location when you schedule the dumpster for delivery or mark the area with flags or another indicator.
How much space is needed for a Dumpster?
It depends on the size of the dumpster you select.
For 10, 12 and 15-yard containers, we need at least 30 feet of space, 10 feet in width, and 15 feet of overhead clearance.
For 20, 21 and 30-yard dumpsters, we need at least 60 feet of space, 10 feet in width, and 25 feet of overhead clearance.
Where can I place the Dumpster?
Most clients choose to place their dumpster in their driveway. Please make sure your driveway is firm enough to handle the weight of the truck and the filled dumpster — heavy loads may cause damage. We can also place the dumpster on your lawn, but this may leave ruts or damage the grass.
Please make sure there’s at least 25 feet of overhead clearance for delivery, and be cautious of nearby trees, power lines, or other obstructions. We are not liable for any damage to driveways, curbs, walkways, overhanging limbs, or power lines.
What materials can NOT be placed in the Dumpster?

Paint and thinner (dry cans only)
Liquids, solvents, freon, or chemicals
Biohazard or medical waste
Equipment that contains gas or oil (such as lawnmowers or chainsaws)
White goods (refrigerators, stoves, etc)
Concrete should be placed in a separate container
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. We can accept ACH and business checks after a credit application is completed and approved.
Does the Dumpster have a door?
Yes – All of our dumpsters come equipped with a convenient rear access door. The rear door swings all the way around and lies flat against the side of the dumpster when opened, allowing for easy and safe loading. The top of the dumpster is also completely open.
How can I protect my driveway during dumpster delivery?
While we cannot guarantee your driveway will remain spotless, we do recommend placing two 4×8 sheets of plywood underneath the dumpster’s delivery spot. These can be made from scrap wood (with no screws or nails) and will help protect against scratching or dimpling. The wood will remain in place after we pick up the dumpster.
Please be aware we cannot guarantee your driveway will remain crack-free, as our trucks can weigh up to 30,000 lbs, and fully loaded, up to 54,000 lbs. If you’re worried, we suggest choosing our 10-yard container, which is significantly lighter. We are not liable for any damage to driveways.
